Ruby is a very special girl relinquished by her owner who could no longer care for her due to serious medical issues. Ruby wants nothing more than to be a loving companion and lap dog. She does enjoy being outside and going for long walks. Ruby has been living with several other dogs of all sizes and at 12 pounds, will stand her ground to larger dogs. Ruby is fearful of being picked up, possibly from being dropped at one time, but given the opportunity she will warm up to you quickly and jump into your lap eager to snuggle. She is very well mannered and totally housetrained, she loves to curl up in her bed and lives for food and treats. Ruby will do best with a fenced yard and a fairly quiet household with no children. She really is such a cute and sweet girl. Ruby has been spayed, microchipped, is up to date on all vaccinations and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
